Motorcycling
is something I enjoy a lot -- see a little story about how
it all got started. Recent winters have been mild and without much
snow so it has been possible to ride almost every weekend. It requires
some special equipment and procedures
though. Recently, I decided to get a new helmet. Not that the old one
was defective. It was the color. I started out with a black helmet but
in noticing other riders on the road it occurred to me that a white one
would be much more visible and therefore better for safety. I use the
Shoei X-SP. There
are quite a few motorcycling
pictures in the photo gallery.
A couple of books from
my favorites list related to motorcycling
that I have read lately are...
The Holy Ranger -- Harley-Davidson
poems by Martin Jack Rosenbaum
Outlaw
Machine -- Harley-Davidson and the search for the American soul
by Brock Yates
