The month of July was a hot one for much of the country and also at IBM, with technology and solutions annuncements and acquisitions across the board. Here are the announcements made by the company during the month. It was very exciting to be in New York this week for the announcement of IBM's new Z9 mainframe computing system. As I was looking at it on the stage, I was wondering how many buildings it would have taken in 1967, when I joined IBM, to house an equivalent amount of processing power.
