Abstract

The abstract below was written by someone preparing their audience for a presentation. It is a high level view of what my presentations are about. I do my best to tailor my comments and examples to the audience.

The Future of the Internet

John Patrick, author of Net Attitude and one of the leading Internet visionaries, believes the rapid evolution of the Internet has brought it to adolescence.  We haven’t seen anything yet!  The Internet will continue to change how we learn, buy, entertain ourselves, and communicate with others, and is about to change how we engage in health care.  John will provide an exciting vision about the power and the potential of the mobile Internet, Cloud computing, and social media.  He will discuss the key opportunities that are just beginning to surface, and the potential limitations that may stand in the way.  More importantly, he will offer a visionary glimpse of the future beyond the Internet, as we know it.  His presentation will bring to life John’s vision of the technological and societal changes underway and provide examples of how businesses and institutions of all kinds can empower their employees to achieve new levels of productivity – and health.
